The main points from the AGM are:
The open league will now consist of four leagues. There are still roughly the same number of teams, so there will be more fixtures per team. The league structure will be published shortly.
The PK Cup is now 'opt-in' only. It is likely there will be either be an A draw and a slightly larger B draw but we are still waiting for a couple of clubs to respond. The draws will be published at the fixtures meeting.
A discussion took place surrounding players in the early part of the season playing lower than their ability and also representing lots of teams for the same club. There were quite a few cases last season. There will be no rule change as Rule 25 covers it. However this will be strongly enforced from now, applying penalties where necessary. We expect captains to highlight where they see this happening. All claims will be dealt with discretely.
The Annual General Meeting will be held at Barnsley Squash Club at 7:30pm on Wed 31 May 2017. Items for discussion should be sent to Martin Roberts by Wed 24 May 2017.
The Fixtures Meeting will be held at Abbeydale Squash Club at 7:30pm on Wed 21 June 2017.
Woodfield Squash and Leisure are hosting a graded tournament.
Taking place 29th - 30th April 2017, the entry fee is £15 which includes a T-Shirt and a guarantee of two matches. There is a £50 prize for the winner and other prizes too. There are three categories of play, pitched at different levels. It promises to be a great, fun competition with an exciting atmosphere at a brand new club!

There are five courts allocated. The intended order of play is shown below. This, of course, is open to change dependent on the length of matches. Players should be present with plenty of time to spare before their match.
We have two independent referees available to mark on the day, however this is not enough to cover all matches so players will be required to mark their own matches. If anybody wishes to volunteer as a referee please contact the site.
